AI for Sustainability Hackathon 2026 unites creators, developers, and changemakers to build a greener, smarter future. The event unfolds in two dynamic phases: first, participants pitch bold ideas that tackle environmental and social challenges; then, they transform those ideas into working prototypes that drive measurable sustainability impact. With expert mentorship, cutting-edge tools, and a spirit of collaboration, teams will design solutions that blend innovation with purpose, advancing sustainability, creativity, and real-world change.

AI for Energy Optimization in Smart Cities: Develop an AI system that analyzes city-level energy usage (lighting, traffic, HVAC, etc.) and predicts opportunities to reduce consumption or shift loads to renewable sources.
